The guidance addresses structured connections from servers to leaf switches and onward through spine and core layers. It presents organised cabling as part of scaling an AI cluster, alongside the equipment and network design.<\/p><h2>Practical implications<\/h2><p><em>The following is XConnect\u2019s planning interpretation.<\/em><\/p><p>The useful deliverable is a repeatable connection plan. In a large cluster, a spreadsheet of component quantities is insufficient unless each assembly can be traced to the correct ports.
